Michael Fitzsimons

Michael joined BBSF on a part time basis in 2015 while training as a full time international athlete. After retirement from his international sporting career Michael’s professional drive and ambition shone through to his work in BBSF. His attention to detail and quick to action personality gained him a spot in the BBSF training programme. Michael is now a key member of the Business Development through estimating while studying for a Quantity Surveying degree in DIT Bolton Street part time.

Elaine Duffy

With over 25 years of administration experience, Elaine joined BBSF in mid 2018, Elaine works with the office operations team to ensure the smooth running of the company administrations. Overseeing financials, policy and procedural administration and working closely with the company directors.

David Buggy

Joining BBSF in 2009 under our apprenticeship programme, David quickly showed a natural ability and drive to succeed in the industry. After completing his apprenticeship in Metal Fabrication through FAS in partnership with DIT Bolton Street, David spent 2 years with Liebherr fine tuning the knowledge from his apprenticeship. On returning to BBSF in 2016 David quickly rose to become Production Manager specialising in RWC.  David has injected his enthusiasm in the modernising and efficiency of the production and planning procedures.

Brendan O’Sullivan

Brendan graduated from Griffith College in 2008 with a BA in Interior Architecture and worked with an architectural practice before coming to work for BBSF in 2009. Brendan measures and produces drawings for clients and the workshop staff, with a careful and thorough attention to detail. He is currently studying and working toward a third level engineering qualification.

Brendan Buggy

Originally training and starting his career in coach building, Brendan branched out on his own starting from one van and an apprentice in the early 1980’s. Over the years the company has seen many changes as well as economic challenges, but has steadily grown from strength to strength to its current size. BBSF as it is now known, specialises in various areas of steel fabrication from a base in Rathcoole across two buildings and four departments.
